Jurisdictions with no restrictions may use & discharge fireworks from the following dates and times:
- June 28, Noon – 11:00 p.m.
- June 29, July 3rd 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
- July 4, 9:00 a.m. – midnight
- July 5, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
THE FOLLOWING CITIES HAVE FIREWORKS RESTRICTIONS !
- Aberdeen July 4, 9:00 a.m. – midnight
- Cosmopolis July 4, 9:00 a.m. – midnight
- Elma July 3 noon – 11:00 p.m. July 4, 9:00 a.m. – midnight
- Hoquiam July 3 & 4, 9:00 a.m. – midnight
- Ocean Shores July 2 & 3, noon – 11:00 p.m. July 4 noon – midnight
Fireworks may only be discharged on the beach from Damon Beach Approach (Best Western) to Marine View Drive Beach Access. Fireworks cannot be discharged in the City.
- Westport July 4 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Discharge at Half Moon Bay, 200 feet from the dunes
FIREWORKS AND RECREATIONAL BURNING RESTRICTIONS
If discharging fireworks or enjoying a campfire at the beach—remember to be 100+ feet away from the dunes. Don’t forget to completely extinguish your campfire.
Be courteous and dispose of garbage and used fireworks properly. DO NOT put fireworks debris in your car or in trash receptacles unless it has been thoroughly soaked in water.
Japanese Lanterns (paper, floating or Chinese Lanterns) are prohibited in Grays Harbor County! The lanterns are essentially unmanned hot air balloons and a person cannot constantly attend the flame inside the lantern as it rises in the sky and floats away, they would be in violation of outdoor burning rules as stated in WAC 173-425-060(5)(c)(vi).
